Ceramic & Mosaic Artist (Encinitas, CA USA)

Kathryn is a multi-talented artist with experience in various artistic fields including ceramics - handbuilding, potter’s wheel, casting and decorating techniques; mosaic and tile installations; fine-painting, and computer-aided digital imaging and design.

Kathryn’s style varies from contemporary to traditional to Native American works to just plain Funky! Mostly functional art that includes stepping stones, flower pots, rain sticks, hand made or hand painted ceramic tile in bright colors or muted tones, functional pottery experimentation is never exhausted. Materials include clay, glass, broken pottery, concrete, found objects and acrylic painting.

She works as a freelance artist and designer and professionally in the home improvement area as a decorative painter and tile installer.

Kathryn is interested in connecting with other artists working on public art projects and local community events..
